3 simple steps to make your time worth it

Time: A pure creation of the human mind that rules our life. Sometimes we wish we have more, sometimes we wish it goes faster. In order to save time, we are willing to spend millions, but are we really making good use of it? Let's have a look.

I cannot count how many hours have I spent playing video games, watching TV or Netflix or just staring out the window being too lazy to do anything. On the other hand, from time to time, I will complain that I don't have enough time. And then, by looking at where my life is, I would think that if I had spent my time differently in the past then I would be a lot further than where I am now.

Time will always come and go and we cannot control it. With that being said, we can control what are we doing with our time and how we'd like to spend it. As all of us have a purpose in life and looking to reach something bigger then we need to make sure our time is worth it.

In order to do that, we only need a 3 step process:

1 - Establish your goals

Start by establishing your long term goals, your 5 or 10 years vision. Dream big and think about where you'd love to be at that time. Think about all areas in your life: health, money, relationship, career... Try to be as specific as possible and make sure that these goals get you excited!

2 - Analyze your actual time spent

Now have a look at what you're doing when you have spare time. Try to analyze if whatever you are doing now will help you to reach your goals. If it doesn't, are you spending your time on something that is making you grow or simply entertaining your mind?

Look as well on what are you spending your time on at work, or if you're one of these people who are always busy, what do you spend your time on? Is it productive time that helps you reach your goals or is it just for the company or someone else?

3 - Adjust your time spent based on your goals
